RMS connection outage — RESOLVED

This notification applies ONLY to our Boonex Dolphin customers, who use RMS Connection at GigaPros.

We had a problem with RMS connection today, where our firewall blocked the RMS port by mistake. We have now fixed this issue and taken measure that this doesn’t happens again future (see below).

To prevent this from happening again, we have now implemented an auto-recovery mechanism in RMS, which will run in the background and keep checking for such mishaps every 5 minutes. If the RMS again seems to be down in the future (which is very unlikely), then the auto-recovery system will re-start it within 5 minutes without any human intervention.
